Made inhouse from carbon fiber reinforced nylon (PAHT-CF) for superior strength, resistance to high heat and durability, our 4th Gen Commodore (VE/VF) 8HP/DCT shifter mount is the ideal solution for mounting a BMW 8HP/DCT Shifter in your 4th Gen Commodore.
It features our embossed insignia and fits in the factory mounting location. These come supplied with the necessary hardware to fix the shifter to the mount and floor of the vehicle.
Notes: 1. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN SHIFTER MOUNTING BOLTS! Over tightening the shifter mounting bolts or using impact/power tools can result in thread damage. We recommend hand tools only and just snug down the shifter bolts. These are plastic and while they are strong, they are not idiot proof, please use your brain.
2. If you are using this to cover an existing shifter hole in a tunnel, we recommend attaching some adhesive reflective heat shielding to the underside of the shifter mount and using a small amount of seam sealant to seal off the heat and fumes from the tunnel from entering the vehicle. In some cases, it may be necessary to replace the oem hardware to more appropriate hardware.
